On Thursday, March 29, the White House Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration will host an Urban Economic Forum at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Among many topics important to urban entrepreneurs in the Las Vegas area, the White House and Administration officials will discuss the Administration’s support for policies that create private-sector jobs and its ongoing commitment to the next generation of entrepreneurs.
The Urban Economic Forum is the fourth of a multi-city series designed to connect urban entrepreneurs and business owners to the local and national resources and the networks they need to grow and hire, and to discuss ways to enhance their success. The first Urban Economic Forum was held last month in New York City with additional events held earlier this month in Birmingham, Alabama and Los Angeles, California. Urban Economic Forums will also be held in Columbus, Detroit, Chicago, Kansas City, and Phoenix in the coming months.
The event will be streamed live at www.whitehouse.gov/live. You can also follow the forum and join the conversation on Twitter using the hashtag #UrbanEconForum.
